Hi Beauties! I am so sorry for not posting as often as I should but I have been really busy lately with work and some exciting stuff for the blog – so please check for an exciting giveaway coming soon. With that being said let’s get to todays post, one of my new favourite masks that I have been using for a few weeks now, the L’oreal Paris Pure Clay Masks. If you have been following me on social media then you would have seen these masks being mentioned a few weeks back. Please note that I only post my review of products once I have done a thorough testing of them and I am satisfied to share my thoughts with you. Now back to these incredible masks that have been seen all over social media for their excellent results.
Like everyone else, when I see people ranting and raving about a good product – I have to give it a try and this was no exception. I saw the Pure clay masks on Instagram and I was impressed with the reviews that I read, so I immediately rushed out to purchase them. At the time, Dischem Pharmacy was running a promotion – normal price of these masks retail for R149,95 each but on promotion they were R129,95 each and if you purchased 2 masks you get 1 free. This was a bargain because I got all three masks for R259,90 so I was really happy. Dischem was sold out of the Pure Clay Masks many times as there was such a huge demand for these, so I had to wait for new stocks to come in – definitely worth the wait.
There are three masks in this range – the Detox Mask, the Purity Mask and the Glow mask – each of these mask target a specific skin concern and helps in those problems. Lets take a closer look at each of these masks and how they can help you in achieving clearer and more beautiful skin in just 10 minutes.
L’OREAL PARIS PURE CLAY – DETOX MASK
“A super-charged pure clay mask with the power of Charcoal to detoxify and illuminate your skin in just 10 minutes.”
The Pure clay detox mask has the power of Charcoal to detoxify and illuminate your skin. The charcoal acts like a magnet to draw out and remove deep impurities such as oil and dirt. This mask has a creamy texture and applies well but can be a bit messy so be careful when applying. The detox mask will help your dull, tired skin look more clearer and purified. When I use this mask my skin feels soft and healthy – I love the detox it gives my skin especially in removing the dirt.
L’OREAL PARIS PURE CLAY – GLOW MASK
“A super-charged pure clay mask enhanced with Red Algae Extract to exfoliate and refine your skin in just 10 minutes.”
The Pure Clay Glow Mask is enhanced with Red Algae Extract to exfoliate and refine your skin. The volcanic rock exfoliates dead skin cells and smoothens surface imperfections. This masks helps rough and clogged skin by minimizing pores and giving you a smoother complexion. It will remove dirt and oil as well – your skin will look smoother and it will definitely give you a beautiful glow. It has a creamy texture when applying but I didn’t like the smell of this mask as I found it to be over powering, but I can bare the smell if I am achieving good results. Overall this product works well and I recommend it to any one who wants clear skin with a radiant glow.
L’OREAL PARIS PURE CLAY – PURITY MASK
“A super-charged pure clay mask with the power of Eucalyptus to purify and mattify your skin in just 10 minutes.”
The Pure Clay Purity Mask has the power of Eucalyptus to purify and mattify the skin. This mask is more soothing and refreshing like a spa experience – penetrating deep into pores to remove impurities. The purity mask helps shiny and oily skin in revealing a clarified, mattified and refreshed complexion. Whilst this mask controls oil and shine on your skin, it is not over-drying and will also help in tightening the pores which become less visible. Purity mask leaves your skin refreshed and healthier. Also a creamy textured mask that is easy to apply and the smell is nice as it has eucalyptus.
L’OREAL PARIS PURE CLAY MULTI-MASKING
Multi-masking is basically using all three off the L’Oreal Paris Pure Clay Masks together at the same time on your skin by applying the different masks to different areas – depending on what your skin concerns are. Multi-masking works really well for people who have combination skin for example, I used the Purity mask on my forehead and nose, the Glow mask on my cheek area and the detox mask on my lower jaw and chin area. To be honest I enjoy multi-masking more than using these Pure clay masks individually as I see a better result. In fact, the very first time I used these masks, my kids looked at my skin, when I removed the masks, and said that my skin looked so smooth and it was glowing. I also noticed an immediate difference in my skin from the first application of multi-masking and I now use these masks at least twice a week. L’Oreal Paris says that you should leave these masks on for about 10 minutes but I do leave mine on for a bit longer and I have never had a bad reaction – so that works for me. The masks come packaged beautifully in glass bottles with a green edged lid that closes tight thus keeping the product safe from falling out.
Overall thoughts on this product – definitely worth the price and helps in achieving desired results so I highly recommend it. You can purchase these amazing masks from Dischem Pharmacies – not sure if the promotion is still on, as this was a while back but you can check. If you know of anyone else who is stocking these then please let me know as I haven’t seen them at other stores.
